Terms of sale

Last updated: October 2026.

This translation is provided for information only. Only the French version of this document is legally binding.

1. Purpose and seller

These terms govern the sale, by SAS ICON (208 rue du Pont Hogris, 50380 Saint-Pair-sur-Mer, France, RCS Coutances 834 441 172), of the WePickADay service available at wepickaday.com. WePickADay helps an organiser find the date of an event among friends and family: sending invitations by email, collecting availability, AI-assisted suggestions of new dates, then booking suggestions.

2. Price

The service costs €1.50 per event, including VAT (€1.25 excluding VAT, 20% VAT included), paid by the organiser. Guests pay nothing.

“First event free” offer: a person invited to a WePickADay event who creates their own event from the “Create mine” link received by email gets that first event free of charge, provided they use the email address at which they were invited and have never paid for an event. The offer is valid once per email address and has no cash value.

Promotional codes: codes distributed by our partners are entered on the payment page. Unless stated otherwise, they are reserved for a first order, valid once and cannot be combined with another offer.

3. Order and payment

The order is placed by filling in the event creation form, accepting these terms, then paying securely via Stripe. No bank details are kept by SAS ICON. The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed.

4. Performance of the service

As soon as payment is confirmed, the invitations are sent to the guests. The organiser receives a personal management link by email. The search for a date runs over at most three rounds; the organiser can close a round or set the date themselves at any time. The service is considered fully performed when the invitations are sent, the following steps being a continuation of it.

WePickADay does not guarantee that a date will suit every guest: the service suggests the best options based on the answers received.

5. Right of withdrawal

The service is fully performed as soon as the invitations are sent, which happens immediately after payment. In accordance with article L.221-28 1° of the French Consumer Code, the organiser expressly requests immediate performance of the service and acknowledges losing their right of withdrawal once it has been fully performed. This request is collected through a checkbox before payment.

6. Refunds

The sale is firm and final once the invitations have been sent. If a technical problem prevents the invitations from being sent, contact us at contact@wepickaday.com: we will send them again or, failing that, refund you.

7. Artificial intelligence and liability

Date suggestions, recommendations and booking ideas are partly generated by artificial intelligence from the information provided. They are for guidance only: the final date is chosen by the organiser. Booking links lead to third-party websites (Airbnb, Booking.com, Google Maps…), for which SAS ICON is not responsible; no booking is made by WePickADay.

8. Organiser’s obligations

The organiser undertakes to invite only people they know and who are likely to take part in their event, and not to use the service for marketing or sending unsolicited messages. The number of guests is limited to 30 per event.

9. Personal data

Data processing is described in our privacy policy.

10. Language and applicable law

The website is available in several languages; only the French version of these terms is legally binding. These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers residing in another European Union country of the protection afforded to them by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.

11. Disputes

In accordance with articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge: CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris — www.cm2c.net. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute will be brought before the competent court.
